This species of sacoglossan, or sap-sucking sea slug, Elysia crispata, which occurs in the Caribbean and northeastern South America, is characterised by its much-folded parapodial margin. Its colouration is very variable and its common name is “Lettuce Slug”, Bonaire Island, Caribbean.
