Norhtern Lights, aurora borealis - A faint aurora along the northern horizon and the summer Milky Way rising in the northeast, over the winding Red Deer River north of Drumheller, Alberta, on May 5/6, 2018. <br />

This is a stack of 8 x 10-second exposures for the ground, mean combined to smooth noise, and one 10-second exposure for the sky, taken consecutively as part of a 730-frame time lapse. This was at about 1 am MDT as the aurora flared up a bit in structure and colour. <br />
<br />
All with the Sigma 14mm Art lens at f/2 and Nikon D750 at ISO 3200.
